To marry the most primal part of yourself to modern culture as part of the through line of humanity

To act so deliberately, knowing that the outcomes are completely outside of your control

To manage monotony while simultaneously influencing in unfathomable ways

To shape and mold one whose final form is beyond your ability to fully know

To inevitably do harm while endeavoring to do good

To repeatedly gain insight after the fact

To give of yourself in order to heal past trauma while laying the groundwork for someone else’s future

To take a leap of faith that exposes you to life’s greatest joys and sorrows

To love in a manner that is so knowable but so impossible to put into words
